Welcome to my pi-resource website where I have documented several of my projects that use a Raspberry Pi. A Raspberry Pi is low-cost, credit-sized computer that was launched in 2012 and is produced by a charitable organisation to facilitate the education of computer science. More information on them can be found here.
Since its launch several versions of the Raspberry Pi have been released and they have found a great number of applications. My first Raspberry Pi has given me more enjoyment than I’d like to admit and it has been an enjoyable way to learn unix – along the way I have found several uses for it, from monitoring my home alarm system to tracking aircraft through their ADS-B transmissions. I am now the proud owner of six Raspberry Pi’s.
I started this site to organise my notes as I worked on various projects and I’ve now decided tidy it up and publish it in the hope that it will be a benefit to others and encourage others to experiment and find creative uses for their Raspberry Pis.
Any code I have written I have published to GitHub, so if you decided you wish to install any of my code then checkout my Raspberry Pi GitHub guide usefully filled under the guide menu!
Many thanks! Comments welcome – and I hope this site is of help.
